We only collect what a feature actually needs:

• Account information — email address and password credentials when you create an account, plus any profile details you choose to add.
• Form submissions — name, email, organization, role and message when you contact us, request certification, or apply for marketplace partner access.
• Newsletter — email address when you subscribe to our dispatches.
• Product activity — saved favorites, comparisons, saved searches, quiz answers and cart contents, so the site can remember them for you.
• Usage data — pages viewed, referring URL, campaign parameters, approximate device and browser information, and interaction events such as CTA clicks and form submissions.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and we do not collect health records or medical data through this website.

• To operate your account and the features you use.
• To respond to certification, partner and contact inquiries.
• To send the newsletter you subscribed to (you can unsubscribe any time).
• To understand which pages and journeys work, and improve them.
• To protect the site against abuse, spam and fraud.

Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performing the contract you asked for (your account and submissions), your consent (marketing email), and our legitimate interest in running a secure, functioning website. You can withdraw consent at any time.

The technologies in use on this site fall into these categories:

• Strictly necessary — authentication session storage and security tokens. The site cannot work without these.
• Functional — local storage that remembers your cart, favorites, comparison list and accessibility preferences on your own device.
• Analytics — first-party page-view and interaction events stored in our own backend so we can measure what is useful.

We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site retargeting pixels on this website. You can clear functional storage at any time through your browser settings.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that make the site work, under contract and only for that purpose:

• Our hosting and application platform.
• Our managed database, authentication and file storage provider.
• Our email delivery provider, for transactional and newsletter email.
• Payment processors, where you make a purchase — we never store card numbers.

We may also disclose information where legally required, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

Account data is kept while your account is active. Inquiry and form submissions are kept while they are commercially relevant to the request. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics events are kept in aggregate. When you ask us to delete your data, we remove it from active systems and it ages out of routine backups.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of marketing. Residents of California, Colorado, Texas, Virginia and other US states with comprehensive privacy laws, and residents of the EU/UK, have these rights under their respective laws.

To exercise any right, email livehappy@happylifelabs.com from the address on your account. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to stored data is protected by row-level security policies so accounts can only read their own records, and administrative functions require verified elevated roles. No system is perfectly secure — if you believe you have found a vulnerability, please email us rather than disclosing it publicly.

When this policy changes materially, we update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email.
